About “Meet the World Around ” Series Events

为助力深圳开展国际化街区建设、国际化城市建设，基金会依托自身品牌内容承办或发起了以“国际化在身边”为主题的系列展览和活动，将“共建、共治、共享”的国际化点滴，通过多种形式展现给中外市民，让大家成为深圳的国际化建设进程中的“共创者”和“代言人”。

其中，在“国际化在身边”系列社群活动下，基金会联合各行各业的顶尖合作伙伴，为在深中外市民带来语言学习、文化鉴赏、运动体验等轻松有趣的活动，打造多元文化交流、融合的国际化氛围。

In order to promote the construction of international city of Shenzhen, SFIEC has launched a series of brand events in the name of “Meet the World Around”. By doing so, we hope everyone can feel that you are also a “co-creator” and "Spokesperson" in the process of Shenzhen’s internationalization construction.

Through “Meet the World Around” SFIEC Global Friendship Community events, we, together with top partners from all walks of life, brings language learning, cultural appreciation, sports experience, and other fun activities to expats and domestic citizens in Shenzhen, and creates an international atmosphere of multicultural exchange and integration.

BOUND SHENZHEN 

为帮助在深外国居民，了解深圳、融入深圳，参与深圳的国际化进程，基金会发布了“国际化在身边-深圳联结项目”，鼓励有组织跨文化社群活动经验的民间团体及个人，申请基金会项目资助，并与基金会一起让更多的社会主体，参与多元的国际化社群活动。

自启动以来，基金会联合各方合作伙伴，为在深中外市民带来了各类轻松有趣的活动，我们也结识了来自不同国家及地区致力中外交流的朋友。

"City Plus-Bound Shenzhen" is an initiative aiming at helping foreign residents in Shenzhen understand the city, integrate into its vibrant culture, andparticipate in its exciting internationalization process.

To make “City Plus-Bound Shenzhen” a success,we are calling on NGOs and individuals with experience in organizing cross-cultural community activities to apply for the funding, and together encourage more social entities to participate in diversified international community activities!

Since its launch, we have had the incredible opportunity to work with partners to bring a variety of relaxing and interesting activities to Chinese and foreign citizens in Shenzhen.

We've also had the chance to meet friends from different countries and regions who are passionate about Sino-foreign exchanges!

2025年是《北京宣言》和《行动纲要》通过暨第四次世界妇女大会召开的30周年。1995年9月，来自189个国家的代表在北京齐聚一堂，通过了具有里程碑意义的《北京宣言》和《行动纲要》，为全球性别平等和妇女赋权制定了明确的目标和行动计划。

The year 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the Fourth World Conference on Women. In September 1995, representatives from 189 countries gathered in Beijing to adopt these landmark documents, setting clear goals and action plans for global gender equality and women's empowerment.

这两份文件为诸多影响我们生活关键领域的政策、计划及投资指明了方向，涵盖教育、健康、和平、媒体、政治参与、经济赋权以及消除性别暴力等领域。30年来，《北京宣言》和《行动纲要》持续指导和推动全球妇女事业的发展，成为实现性别平等的关键性全球政策文件。

Over the past three decades, the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action have guided policies, programs, and investments across critical areas—including education, healthcare, peace, media, political participation, economic empowerment, and the elimination of gender-based violence. As a key global policy framework, these documents continue to shape and drive progress in advancing women's rights worldwide.

“妇女是人类文明的开创者、社会进步的推动者，在各行各业书写着不平凡的成就”。2025年正值《北京宣言》和《行动纲领》通过30周年，这是全球推动性别平等与妇女赋权的关键节点，在这一关键节点，重温北京世界妇女大会的重要精神，谋划全球妇女事业发展的未来，更显意义重大。

“Women are pioneers of human civilization and drivers of social progress, achieving extraordinary accomplishments in all fields”. With 2025 marking this historic milestone, revisiting the spirit of the Beijing Conference and shaping the future of global women’s development is more significant than ever.
